"Productivity is the Key, Quality is our Goal and Technology is the solution"

LINEAR vs. NON-LINEAR
  • Linear Processes: products are manipulated continuously (without interruptions of flow)
  • Manipulations:  fully automatic processes
  • Productivity and efficiency: higher and controllable
  • Versatility:  runs equally well at high and low speeds; adjustable speed using control console on each core equipment
  • Quality – Superior and constant; easy ways to identify any non-conformity implemented on the process – final results are automatically and based on different hardware inspections
  • Performances – continuous improvements; once new hardware or software becomes available,  the overall performance is improved
  • Easy to operate, easy to replicate, easy changeover – automation using programmable controllers with essential data and tools makes easy to operate, to create, to modify and to store “recipes” of any process.
  • TRIMUS CO-PACKING SERVICES & TECHNOLOGY
  • EXAMPLES

01. P&G DC Timisoara operated by Trimus – “Wash & Go” Special Packs running at 70 bundles / minute (more than 1 bundle/second)

No. of workers involved: 8

02. P&G DC Timisoara operated by Trimus – “Camay Soaps” Special Packs running at 50 bundles / minute (1 bundle of 4 pcs./second)

No. of workers involved: 12

03. Urlati Production plant operated by Trimus – “DOVE Gift Boxes”- Unilever Special Packs running at 45 bundles / minute

No. of workers involved: 12

04. P&G DC Timisoara operated by Trimus – “Wash &Go”-  Stickering bundle packs running at 70 bundles / minute

No. of workers involved: 12 in total (but ZERO for stickering barcodes)

  • Non-Linear Processes: products are manipulated randomly (workflow in different stages)
  • Manipulations:  manual or semiautomatic processes
  • Productivity and efficiency: lower and unpredictable
  • Versatility:  depending on the natural skills of the human operators; productivity and speed results are erratically obtained
  • Quality – Lower and random; in order to check and identify any non-conformity, more workers are involved – final results are subjective and based on human interpretation
  • Performances – limited improvements; overall performance can be improved only by increasing the number of workers
  • Operational aspects – almost impossible to replicate and to predict accurate results. To operate, to create, to modify and to store “recipes” of a process are using only the human workers collective memory.

  • EXAMPLES

01. Somewhere on a logistic facility – “Garnier example” on Special Packs running at 6 up 8 bundles / minute (semi-automatic process)

No. of workers involved: 20 (to reach Trimus linear process performance)

02. Somewhere on a logistic facility in Timisoara- “Non-Linear example” on Special Packs / Stickering  with random productivity

No. of workers involved: 20 (estimate to reach Trimus performance)

03. Somewhere on a logistic facility in Timisoara- “Non-Linear example” on Special Packs / Gift Boxes  with random productivity

No. of workers involved: 20 (estimate to reach Trimus performance)

04. Somewhere on a logistic facility – “Non-Linear example” on Stickering process with low and random productivity

No. of workers involved: 20 (estimate to reach Trimus performance)
